Senior Director, Professional Services

Skyword’s Senior Director, Professional Services will lead one of Skyword’s largest B2B Technology client relationships - overseeing all aspects of strategy and content production. In the role, you will be a strategic advisor to clients as they work to fill the sales pipeline with qualified leads and measure the impact of content marketing efforts. You will have a team of up to 5 direct reports spanning client services and editorial strategy.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Develop and recommend omni-channel strategies to clients that may include original Skyword content (articles, videos, visual and interactive content)
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients as they work with their internal teams and agency partners to design, plan and manage integrated demand generation campaigns that reach all identified personas to create pipeline
  • Provide recommendations for enhancing the client’s marketing automation strategy with emphasis on lead nurturing, lead prioritization, lead routing, and driving funnel stage progression
  • Guide clients through the process of measuring KPIs such as cost per lead and cost per acquisition
  • Ensure delivery of contractual obligations and client goals
  • Lead client teams through collaborative workshops and strategy sessions
  • Identify opportunities to expand the relationship with clients and drive contract renewals
  • Provide strategic advice related to industry trends to ensure completeness of Skyword content service offerings
  • Work closely with the VP, Professional Services in identifying opportunities to innovate process, Skyword Platform, client strategy and Skyword offerings

Operations and Talent Staffing

  • Coach the team and provide regular performance evaluations to all direct reports
  • Support Human Resources in the hiring process through candidate identification and interviewing
  • Contribute during management roundtable discussions

Leadership

  • Build relationships with vp-level/senior client stakeholders
  • Resolve issues and develop relevant and actionable plans, programs and recommendations
  • Work with team members to identify and present opportunities for platform enhancements that benefit customer experiences

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in B2B marketing and demand generation
  • 6+ years experience in client management
  • 5+ years experience in personnel management
  • Experience with online content and SEO
  • Experience working with digital advertising agencies or consultancies
  • Experience within a startup, high tech environment a plus
  • Ability to analyze issues and develop relevant and actionable plans, programs and recommendations
  • Able to thrive in an entrepreneurial culture
  • Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems, while maintaining a strong customer focus
  • Able to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to challenges
  • Ability to manage time around unexpected situations and/or requests and prioritize workflow by opportunity
